My week in photos

my week in photos

1. We had the week off and it involved rather a lot of eating out! This was a yummy quiche and salad from the M&S cafe in Hayle
2. We also met up with a friend I hadn’t seen in four years (and got to meet her fiance and three gorgeous pooches) and went to the Blue Bar in Porthtowan. Hot chocolate was rather immense
3. Sitting out on the decking in the evening is rather lovely. You wouldn’t think this was a glass of lemonade – the swizzle stick makes all the difference, right?!
4. And we went on a road trip with the pooch. Look out for Prussia Cove piccies next week

Want, need, wear, read

want need wear read

Want: This Alice in Wonderland brooch from The Literary Emporium is the sweetest thing! I think I even love it more than the Wizard of Oz one. Just…
Need: We have four white dining chairs and I’d love a flash of colour. Dunelm Mill are doing pairs of chair for £39.99 in lime green, purple, red, black and white. Of course, we could just stick with the plan to just paint ours
Wear: Peacocks are having a sale so you can now get this cute tea dress for just £12.80!
Read: I’m a sucker for books that have won prizes and Eimear McBride has just won the Desmond Elliott Prize for debut novelists for her book A Girl is a Half-Formed Thing. Will be giving that a go soon
