Outlaw Craft Fair

This morning I headed off to the Outlaw Craft Fair in Penzance. I even got up early on my day off because the first 20 people through the door got a free goody bag – yay!

Outlaw Craft Fair

Throughout the day, there was stalls, workshops, demos, live music and a deli – plenty to see and do, plus loads of goodies to buy! Check out my freebies from the day. There was mini bunting, an alphabet stamp set, a squirrel finger puppet and floral crafting ribbon. The cute little elephant is a brooch I got my mum from Caroline Kelley-Foreman Designs, the jewellery stand pictured later in this post.

There were dozens of designers at the Fair with stalls that I immediately fell in love with. Luckily, I knew better than to buy everything that took my fancy. Instead, I took photos and collected cards. It’s handy knowing these people work locally – no doubt I’ll come back to them with Christmas lurking around the corner. The designers whose work feature in the image below (clockwise from top left) areΒ Caroline Kelley-Foreman Designs, Emporium of Illumination, Mellybee and Pirrip Press.

One of my favourite stalls was Each Peach. I fell head over heels for the Peter Pan angle. In fact, I nearly picked up some of the Β£4 tote bags with the intention of stuffing them to create (even more) cushions. The kids’ tutus are friggin’ adorable too!

And it’s not just the grown ups who had someplace to explore – there was a crafty treehouse for the kids too! Even I found the woodland creature finger puppets hard to ignore.

The deli was pretty awesome too, with plenty of baked goodies to choose from. I tried one of the raspberry and elderflower cupcakes and it was amazing. Apparently the recipe was taken from the book Red Velvet Chocolate Heartache, so I’m gonna have to get a copy of that now!

It was well worth taking a look down there and I’ll definitely attend another event like it. If you want to check out the rest of the sellers, there’s a list over on the Outlaw Craft Fair website.
