Joe Browns’ winter warmers

I love Autumn/Winter because it means I can wrap up in snuggly knits and pile on the layers. Fortunately, the good folk over at Joe Browns have compiled a beautiful new range for women to help keep me warm and snug as the winter nights draw in. Here is a selection of some of my favourites

Always on my mind tunic, £34.95
Fabulous flattering tunic, £29.95
Remarkable skirt, £34.95
Boutiquee Jacket, £69.95
Perfect purple tweedy coat, £89.95

Dots and spots scarf, £17.95
Very versatile handwarmer, £11.95
The perfect knit handwarmer, £14.95
Cord button satchel, £32.95

And yes, I know the bag won’t keep me warm, but it sure does look good!

Item of the day: Oasis skirt

I fell in love with this skirt when I first saw it on Domestic Sluttery. It’s such a cute, quirky spring/summer skirt and now it’s half price (Oasis, £25)! Of course the weather isn’t exactly great for it at the mo… Do you reckon I could get it now, save it for next spring and call it ‘vintage’?!

Hot new designers: Silly Old Sea Dog

I want to give a shout out to an amazing new designer. Based in Cornwall, but available on Etsy, Silly Old Sea Dog provides amazingly quirky dresses and skirts for adults and young ‘uns alike. The first one to take my eye was this awesome Hungry Caterpillar dress which I saw at a Truro & Penwith College exhibition.

I immediately checked out her Facebook page and discovered that she makes lots of other delightful dresses and they’re all made to order. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to stretch my bank balance enough lately but I’m determined to have at least one by the end of the year. Here are some of my favourites.

I’m definitely gonna have to start putting together my Christmas list!
